Our Ski & Summer Holidays are not retreats.  

Ski/Summer Holidays include morning mediation, light evening stretching guided by a certified yoga instructor, healthy morning freshly squeezed juice, European style breakfast, afternoon tea & refreshments, and a 4 course evening Organic meal.  Please see above "Rental Home" link.  This option along with home rental is also available throughout the summer and fall months.

Nutrition                                                                                                                                                                        Studies show that people looking to improve their fitness and improve their health achieve significantly greater results when using a  personal nutritionist. An effective personal nutritionist will guide you, motivate you, and educate you. The Nutritionist supports and  guides you while creating delicious, healthy aruvedic meal alternatives. 

Analysis
Before we design a retreat, we must take into account your individual current lifestyle and habits. We analyze your goals and then develop a retreat that best meets your unique needs.

Consulting
Learn how to exercise while having fun, eating right and without struggling. Our retreats will improve your eating habits, give you more energy, promote overall health, help you stay fit long-term, and assist in weight-loss.... all while having fun!

Medical Evaluation
We will also develop a retreat to address any specific health issues or concerns that you have. We can design a retreat that can help alleviate or reverse the affects of many ailments. We will evaluate any family history and environmental concerns as well.

I can help you address health concerns such as heart disease, diabetes, digestive disorders, skin problems, eyesight, vitality, obesity, and many other issues.  However, natural remedies should be considered prevention & maintenance, not a cure. 

Ongoing Motivation and Support                                                                                                                                  I never leave you to fend for yourself after a retreat. Once you are a fellow outdoors lover, you will always be considered a friend.  I am available for motivation, inspiration, and support. I will make time for you, whether by email, phone, or an in-person  consultation. You can always count on me.

NOW, the fun begins. These are the Colorado Retreats for the summer of 2011:

Camping 101

Learn to Relax while learning to camp, river kayak, & hike.  We have standby rafts just in case you feel like putting your feet up and soaking in the sun. There is no reason that being in nature shouldn't be like a day at the spa.  We take a minimum of four days, which is our shortest trip we offer. We make our way down scenic and very calm waters.  We pack our food, camping gear,  and hairdryers (just kidding) on the rafts and stop for lunch on the riverside.  Singing is definitely allowed...  We will also stop along  the way and take some side hikes.  Here we learn to hike properly.  Believe me, there is a trick to it and perspiring is not  mandatory. If at anytime you don't feel like joining, it's allowed.. Yes, you are here to have fun, relax, most importantly connect  with nature, and not stress about what you are supposed to do but rather what you want to do.  

Each morning starts with warm-up yoga postures and a wonderful, already prepared riverside breakfast; coffee and fresh juice included.  We gradually get on the river and by noon stop somewhere for a nap, pre-prepared lunch, side hike, a little book reading... you get the picture.  In the late afternoon we stop at our campsite, unload boats, together prepare our healthy, Organic, nutritional meals, get the campfire going, get the guitar out of the bag, and sit for 20 minutes of meditation or quiet contemplation.  If you are new to meditation, don't worry.  The mere sound of the river will wash so much out of your brain it will be effortless.

Then we eat, drink, dance, sing, and be merry.....That's it.  It really is this easy.  By day three not one of you will want to leave, I promise.
